The old adage that good things happen when you least expect them is most certainly true. Life is like an infinite sided rubix cube. You can twist it any way you like but with every turn you make, there is always a different combination of colours. A bonsai tree fell on my roof. It smashed through the tiles, split the ceiling and landed right on to my bed. Despite its wild entrance, the tree remained unharmed. It just lay there, firmly rooted upright in its pot. It is very hard to imagine that something so artistically delicate could be so sturdy.

He closes his eyes absorbing the subtle nuances in his piece; an arpeggio, the mordents then staccatos that slowly meld into legato. His eyelids drop.
You remembered the first time you touched the ivory key. In that busy shopping mall where there was an island of display pianos. Your toddler legs took you to the large grand one, its titanic size towered over you. You stared at the keyboard, not knowing what it is. The black and white keys resembled
